Dr. Vanita Shukla is a highly dedicated and organized consultant paediatric neurologist with extensive academic and clinical experience. Specializing in paediatric neurology and epilepsy, Dr. Shukla integrates her passion for teaching with a deep commitment to patient care. Throughout her career, she has worked within various international healthcare systems, developing expertise in managing complex neurological conditions in children, including epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Shukla plays an active role in curriculum development, clinical supervision, and cross-campus teaching at the University of the West Indies. Her academic contributions have extended to research, where she participates in research studies and clinical trials. One of her key goals is to establish a paediatric epilepsy surgery service in the Caribbean, offering valuable training opportunities for allied health professionals.
