He is a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in England, having completed his UK-based exams in October 2016, which placed him on the Specialist Pediatric Register with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Bissoon also completed a degree in Pediatric Growth and Nutrition with Boston University Hospital, which informs his management of patients, emphasizing the importance of nutrition at all life stages. He holds a MRCPCH qualification from the UK, attained in 2016, and is a certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor since 2013, training doctors and nurses in newborn resuscitation.
