Profile Description

Dr. Shanaree Gooding-Dilbar is an experienced pediatrician who qualified from the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health-Part 2- 2019 and Peadiatric Society of Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Gooding-Dilbar has over 11 years of experience in paediatrics and currently works as a registrar in the paediatric medicine department at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC). In this role, she frequently rotates through and manages patients in all subspecialty fields, including neonatology, neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, haematology, child development, dermatology, endocrinology, and general medicine in both acute and sub-acute settings. Dr. Gooding-Dilbar provides antenatal counselling sessions to expectant parents, focusing on preparing for high-risk pregnancies, managing the peri-partum and post-partum periods, and offering breastfeeding tips. She practices privately at Sanjivani Women’s Hospital, St. Augustine, and First Call Medical Services, Chaguanas. Her clinical focus includes a variety of paediatric conditions such as fever, asthma, developmental milestones, allergies, and paediatric rehabilitation. Dr. Gooding-Dilbar is committed to addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of health to ensure the overall well-being of her patients.
